Book-Cycle is a registered charity based in Exeter, England. We collect surplus books and tree saplings which we house in one of our 'free' bookshops. Here you are invited to choose up to
3 books per day and donate whatever you wish!

Proceeds are used to send free educational resources to children in developing countries as well as planting trees across the U.K.

Book-Cycle also works to benefit the local community; establishing projects to encourage self-reliance through home food growing, engaging in global issues and promoting wildlife through the planting of trees. We also provide FREE internet access, seed banks, independent film screenings, 'Bring Your Own Art' exhibitions and a variety of workshops too!

Book-Cycle is run entirely by volunteers and seeks to promote a fair,
more enlightened
vision of the future.

Our Exeter shop is the main Book-Cycle Hub, the place where most of our activities spring from.

Why not send a few books of your own?

For less than £1 you can send a book or two to some of the poorest areas of the world and have a dramatic and long lasting affect on some of the children living there.

A parcel of less than 5kg will cost about £24.
For instructions on what to send and how see our DIY page.
