If you are interested in helping out in anyway, please let us know.... There are various jobs to do, some within the shop, some outside, some that can be done from your very own home. Give us a call or pop in to the shop for a chat and we’ll see what you would like to do and where your time would be best spent. There are jobs for everyone; it’s not all alphabetising books... Whether you have ten minutes or ten hours, we’d love to hear from you. Your time, energy and ideas are always appreciated. We do not ask for you to work set hours or times, unless you would like to. We are very flexible and can fit our days around volunteer availability. Jobs include but are by no means limited to: - Keeping the shop open and in a relative state of tidiness; re-stocking and alphabetising the shelves etc
- Helping sort books at our warehouse and at West Town farm
- Help with tree and hedge planting
- General permaculture activities
- Handing out flyers
- Being a Post-Cycle pixie and distributing random literature through letterboxes in your local area
- Designing new flyers for the shop and events
- The organisation and publicity of new events
- Packing and sending boxes to our partner charities
- Painting new designs on the walls of our yard
- Topping up Shelf-Cycles in public places around the city
