TunaHAKI - Tanzania

The TunaHAKI Centre is a non-profit organisation that provides shelter for AIDS orphans and street children in Moshi, Tanzania. "TunaHAKI" is Swahili for "We have a right" and is a phrase the street children came up with as they set about to find a better life. Since their inception in 1998, TunaHAKI have rescued hundreds of children from the streets of Moshi.

Empowering children to become self-reliant, the centre is dedicated to providing these children with what they have a right to; food, clothing, shelter and education. The main objective of TunaHAKI is to FIGHT POVERTY which is the greatest enemy of the present world.

We send them educational and reading books for 5-18 year olds
