The Surin Village School Charity was set up to help build basic schools in regions of the world that would struggle to have adequate educational facilities. The first three schools are being built in Thailand, Mali and Bolivia and will also be provided with basic humanitarian assistance; such as solar power for electricity, a community healthcare centre and drinking water. The charity will also link schools in Kent to the schools being built, encouraging ongoing community support, curriculum activity and cultural exchange and learning – for both parties!
