Under the guidance of Lama Paljor and in alliance with the SHAMBALA association, the Sukhavati Boarding School project was built by the local villagers of the Zuluk village. The project began in November 2005 and was completed in Febuary 2007, which now enables 50 children, both boys and girls, to continue to attend the Padhamchen High School and a further 40 students to enrole. These children live in the poor village of Zuluk, East Sikkim and North India, about 10km from Padhamchen.
