Kiswa Primary School - Uganda
Despite universal primary education being introduced throughout Ugnada, more than a decade ago, the cost of educating a children has been prohibitive for many families, especially for the poorest people living in Kampala's urban villages. More than 50% of Uganda's population is under 15 years old. In response to this need, more than 200 children are registered at Kiswa Community Nursery & Primary School where they receive a good standard of education following the Ugandan national curriculum.
. In addition to their studies, children also receive two meals a day and help with the cost of uniform and scholastic materials. In order to become fully registered with the government, the school requires major investment in a building of its own with more space than it has on its current school site. We send a variety of educational and reading books for children Charmaine O'Neill Kiswa Primary School Plot 10-122 Spring Road, Bugolobi, PO Box 20083, Kampala, Uganda
