Azafady won “Best Volunteering Organisation” in the 2007 Responsible Tourism awards. Besides working for the environment through tree-planting and other conservation initiatives, Azafady directly combat poverty through income-generating activities and provide access to sanitation, clean drinking water and basic healthcare.
